AKHILA NAGABANDI

Akhila is Head of HR at Pearl Lemon. Joined in 2020 with 20 members in the team at the mid of Covid Lockdown after completing her bachelor’s in Business Administration. Started as a Marketing and HR Intern to get exposure to the corporate Industry later got into depth training about HR now Pearl Lemon has 50+ team members. Outside Pearl Lemon, she’s now preparing to join her higher studies.

What do you do at the Pearl Lemon Group?

As a Head of HR, I’m focused on hiring the team members of all the areas according to requirements, Team management, motivation, and ensuring the process goes smoothly

What do you enjoy most about the Pearl Lemon Group?

I enjoy remote working where I can get the work done from our seat without meeting the team in Physical which is very interesting and working with the international team is BEST 🙂 🙂

Tell us something you were doing in your 'last life'?

I was a full-time undergraduate Student before joining PL at the same time worked as an HR and Marketing Intern in 2 MNC’s and as a Marketing Intern for a startup.

What is one of the things you could tell us about you that would surprise most people?

When I was working as a HR Intern at Larsen & Toubro HQ(Top 1 construction Company) in India. I got a chance to my seniors and MBA students as an Undergraduate student at my University and all over India and managed to complete 3 internships within my three years of bachelors.

How would your closest friend describe you?

Friendly, Motivated, Understandable and Smiling always lol

Name three things you can’t live without?

Tea, Ferrero Rocher, and thriller Movies
