What do you do at the Pearl Lemon Group?

I originally joined PLG as a Cold Caller.

6 months later, I’m account managing (my role is Client Relationship Director) all of our Lead Generation clients and also managing our cold caller sales team in tandem with Gary.

I send out reports, have calls with clients, oversee hiring for new cold callers, and discuss strategy for the group as a whole mainly with Deepak and Lydia.

What do you enjoy most about the Pearl Lemon Group?

The diversity, and how flat the hierarchy is.

Everyone has their own responsibilities and nobody (including Deepak) can hide behind their role or pass responsibility onto someone else and get away with it.

I also love how much it’s taught me, within so many different areas.

I’m also much more confident talking to people, as well as standing my ground when needed.

Tell us something you were doing in your 'last life'?

Mostly studying and finishing up my thesis.

I also had more time to dedicate to writing and recording music which I really enjoy.

What is one of the things you could tell us about you that would surprise most people?

I worked as a stage manager for a large nightclub in Portugal. I was the artist liaison, making sure they were happy and that shows would go smoothly.

It was a Summer job where I’d work 50 nights in a row on an average 4 hours of sleep. It was hard but fun and a great learning experience.

How would your closest friend describe you?

They would describe me as an idiot, but an idiot who cares 🙂

I’m also the one that suggests they do something and they always do the opposite and come back to me for help.

Name three things you can’t live without?

My phone, music, and feta cheese. Final answer.
